Organic media is composed of different media types, and delivers the best value for the blasting dollar on specialty projects. We can choose different profiles and combinations of media as needed. Depending on steel, aluminum, wood, marble stone or concrete these medias are especially used in residential and occupied communities and neighborhoods.
Baking soda blasting uses sodium bicarbonate to strip paint, rust and grime off virtually any surface. Soda blasters can be used to remove paint, grease, rust stains, and dirt from any surface, including steel, aluminum, wood, sheet metal, brick, concrete, granite, chrome, glass, and even fiberglass. Incredible how powerful soda blasting can be.
Aluminum Oxide is of the most expensive blasting medias, as is small crushed pieces of aluminum. However, the aluminum profile is unique in that it is very light usually between 0.5-1 mil and can be reused in closed blasting rooms, or cabinets. For aircraft and magnesium parts, this is the suggested media type.
Silica free sand is the most common used media in outdoor blasting applications. The profile expected can be changed using different sand grits, similar to hand sanding. This media is not recyclable, as becomes dust pretty quickly. For large outdoor projects, this is the only affordable, disposable blasting media.

We make wood look aged for many custom projects. Need vintage trusses or antique look on new wood, come do a sample. We can adjust how aggressive we sandblast the wood depending on hardness of material and look desired. After apply a stain and have a unique wood look with sandblasting.
We profile stones and tiles to remove gloss and provide a non slip surface. Around pools, walkways and beach stone should be sandblasted to provide a nice grip, even when wet.
